Regional Manager - South

Location: Brentwood

We are recruiting for an experienced Regional Manager, following the successful internal promotion of our existing Regional Manager.

The successful candidate will lead the PERI business (customer, projects, turnover and discount) within a defined area, with the objective of achieving defined financial targets and growing our market share within the formwork and scaffolding sector.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding solutions and will have worked in a senior sales role previously, operating a similar business model of sales and rental.

Key Duties

  • Work closely with the Commercial Director to set and deliver the sales strategy for the region
  • Develop and maintain a project pipeline for the region
  • Work closely with your Sales Managers and Sales Engineers to deliver the sales strategy
  • Maintenance and development of relationships with key customers and professional associations
  • Regular liaison with customers and our customer service team to manage queries and complaints
  • Negotiate trading agreements and discount levels
  • Promote and sell new products
  • Operate within the company financial guidelines
  • Develop a high level of understanding of PERI products, competitors and the formwork & scaffolding markets
  • Ensure the most cost effective and profitable solutions are given to the customer
  • Ensure sales systems are widely adopted e.g. CRM
  • Work closely with other Sales Managers to share information and best practice
  • Recruitment and training of suitable staff
  • Effectively and accurately report on business activity

What you'll need


  • Extensive experience of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding solutions
  • Previous sales experience within the Construction Industry
  • Previous experience of selling into high net value customers
  • Good experience in all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding solutions
  • Ability to learn and adapt to PERI and its product range quickly
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Extensive contacts in the construction industry
