Sales Engineer - Access

Location: Glasgow / Northern Region


To manage PERI business (customer, projects, turnover, and discount), build and maintain new customer trading relationships, holding the responsibility of growing PERI market share, within scaffolding, within your defined geographical area.


Your Responsibilites

  • Identify and target new customers within Industrial market
  • Develop, maintain and grow turnovers from existing customers within scaffolding market
  • Develop and maintain a project pipeline for your geographical area of responsibility, within CRM for industry
  • Work closely with customers to manage debt and support credit control
  • Negotiate trading agreements and discount levels for existing and new customer for industry
  • Generate prospects and revenue from traditional system scaffold market
  • Generate prospects within new markets linked with scaffolding opportunities
  • To be fully familiar with the ISP presentation to use as a selling tool to key contractors and clients
  • Work closely with the sales manager to ensure the most cost effective and profitable solutions are given to the customer
  • Build relationships with customers to win their trust and increase their confidence in PERI industry, product and service capabilities
  • To effectively and accurately report on business activity, through our internal CRM system

Your Profile

  • Previous sales engineer experience within the industry market (essential)
  • Good experience in the different types of system scaffolding available to the market
  • Good presentation skills

Experience & Relevant Qualifications

  • Experience in selling within the construction industry preferably with direct experience of the scaffolding market
  • Knowledge of the Industry and system scaffolding market in Northern Region
