Operations Manager*, Rugby

Your responsibilities

  • Maintaining the operational performance of the region, overall management of teams and individuals within the department structure
  • Align operational strategy into regional objectives
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all staff, customers and visitors, supporting our culture of a safe working environment
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all Company assets, property and services in conjunction with Facilities Manager
  • Develop relationships with key clients in line with company strategy, including implementation of losses and damage process
  • Work closely with functional heads/managers to ensure consistent, efficient and best working practices across the business

Your profile

  • Experience of working in an Operational/Logistics environment at a managerial level, managing a team of around 25 staff developing individuals 
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety (NEBOSH or similar qualification) essential
  • PC literate with good knowledge of MS Office including Excel
  • Objective-orientated, ability to lead results
  • Strong work ethic, open and reliable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.

  • Practical knowledge of cost control and management
