Finance Manager

Location: TBC, Republic of Ireland

PERI is seeking a Finance Manager to support the set up a new subsidiary in Ireland. You will have a strong background in Finance along with passion and an entrepreneurial spirit to support the establishment of our business in Ireland.

Your Responsibilites

  • Financial and management reporting, supporting the senior management team in effective decision-making, a growth strategy and driving business performance
  • Production of management accounts including stock analysis, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, intercompany reconciliations
  • Management of sales, purchase and nominal ledgers including timely and accurate production of all invoicing and payments to suppliers, cash collection and cash management
  • Completion of VAT, PAYE, Intrastat & other government returns
  • Input into, and monitoring of, a payroll system using an outsourced payroll provider
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all company assets & liabilities are correctly identified, reconciled and reported
  • Monthly reporting of financial information via the group reporting platform “MoBe” to tight deadlines
  • Annual budgeting & quarterly forecasting to group
  • Preparation of information for audit and ensuring preparation of statutory year end accounts compliant with local laws and standards
  • Development of finance process and best practices
  • Development of the finance function appropriate to the size of business as it grows
  • Effective liaison with PERI head office, bank, creditors, auditors and other external bodies as necessary

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Finance
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants Qualification
  • Experience of working with SAP for financial accounting desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a similar industry and global organisation
  • Extensive finance management experience
