PERI UK made their first appearance as exhibitors at Digital Construction Week (DCW) last October. The event, held at the ExCeL Centre in London, is the only event in the UK dedicated to digital construction, engineering, design, manufacturing, and operation.
The subsidiary showcased the latest advances in technology in support of the growing requirement for Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation throughout the duration of construction projects.
Attendees benefitted from learning about virtual, augmented and mixed reality, all offering different advantages for clients. Technical experts were on hand to provide interactive demonstrations and information around how each piece of technology works. One of which involved using PERI’s exPERIence app to view conventional 2D technical drawings in 3D form.
The technology will enable informed planning and decision making, helping to streamline future formwork and scaffolding projects.
In addition, sister company CENTRIO was on site at the PERI stand, demonstrating the benefits of PERI’s cloud-based project management solutions and software, such as PERIpath.
The two-day exhibit proved a success, with over 200 people visiting the stand to find out more about what was on offer and taking away a free PERI branded Google cardboard as a souvenir.
