Construction projects are becoming increasingly complex, and contractors are looking for greater confidence in the systems, expertise, and support behind key project decisions. In response, PERI UK has launched The Brentwood Experience, a structured visitor programme based at its Essex facility.

The programme builds on the company’s existing 600 m2 showroom and training environment opened in 2021, bringing together full-scale system demonstrations, access to technical experts, and operational insight in a tailored half-day or full-day visit. The space continues to evolve with new systems, technologies, and digital services added over time.

Helping project teams make better-informed decisions

The Brentwood Experience has been developed to give project teams a more practical understanding of how systems will perform in real construction and infrastructure applications, as well as the support available throughout project delivery.

Visitors can explore full-scale formwork and scaffolding systems, accessories, and digital construction tools, while discussing project requirements with PERI specialists. Each visit is tailored according to specific interests and can include access to expertise in areas such as climbing systems or tunnelling.

“Contractors want to understand how a solution will function on their project, what support is available, and what they need to consider before work starts,” says Mark Addison, site supervisor at PERI UK. “The Brentwood Experience gives people time to ask detailed questions, see systems up close, and have conversations with the specialists who support projects every day.”

Looking beyond the product

A key element of the programme is access to PERI UK’s operational yard, where visitors can see how equipment is inspected, maintained, and prepared and dispatched for use on site. The aim is to provide greater visibility into the processes that support project delivery, helping contractors see how system selection, logistics, and operational readiness work together.

“For many visitors, seeing the operational side of the business is just as valuable as seeing the systems themselves,” Mark said. “It helps them understand what sits behind the products – from engineering and technical support through to logistics, training, and site services.”

Bringing together systems, expertise, and training

The Brentwood facility also supports PERI UK’s wider accredited training activities, giving visitors insight into the practical support available to help teams develop their competence and confidence when working with modern formwork and scaffolding systems.

Alongside product demonstrators, visitors can meet members of PERI’s engineering, training, and field services teams to discuss project-specific challenges and requirements.

Merve Ozgul, design engineer at Apex Core Engineering, described a recent visit to PERI UK’s exhibition hall and training facility in Brentwood as “really helpful and gave us a much better understanding of the PERI system”, adding that the opportunity to explore systems first-hand and speak directly with knowledgeable staff including senior leaders was a valuable part of the experience.

Audric Rivaud, Project Manager at Joseph Gallagher, said the visit was genuinely worthwhile and praised the PERI UK team’s professionalism and the practical insight he gained: “I felt the experience added real value and I’ll be encouraging more colleagues to visit so they can benefit in the same way.”
