At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to environmental sustainability. Economic success, integrity, and social responsibility are equal priorities for PERI, wherever we operate around the world.
That commitment is reflected not only in the solutions we deliver to our customers, but also in the way we power our own operations.
It has now been three years since PERI UK installed photovoltaic (PV) systems across our Brentwood, Rugby, and Glasgow sites. In total, 2,300 solar panels were installed, providing a combined generation capacity of 872 kWp. The systems became fully operational in July 2023, marking a significant milestone in our transition towards renewable energy.
In 2025 alone, the installations generated more than 820,000 kWh of clean electricity, helping to reduce our reliance on imported energy. Thanks to an impressively sunny 2025, the system exceeded expectations, producing an additional 72,000 kWh above projected output.
Since installation, our solar panels have generated a total of 2.3 million kWh of renewable electricity – enough energy to power more than 800 average UK homes for an entire year.
Environmental Impact
Since the start of operating, the PV systems have helped reduce carbon emissions by over 440,000kg CO₂ – the equivalent of:
- Driving an electric vehicle 6.5 million kilometres
- Or planting around 26,500 trees
Powering Our Future
Like many PERI subsidiaries around the world, we’re committed to driving sustainability forward. Our UK solar initiative is already making a measurable contribution to PERI Group’s global climate targets – and we’re only just getting started.
This investment in solar has more than proven itself already in just 36 months, and it will continue delivering environmental and commercial benefits for years to come.
