Strong Partnerships
The Rotary Club Innsbruck Alpin and the Rotary Club Kampala have taken an important step by purchasing PERI TwistBlock Moulds and launching a learning centre in Uganda. Here, young people will gain the skills to produce and build with TwistBlocks, creating both local value and meaningful vocational training opportunities.
In addition, Habitat for Humanity Uganda is preparing to produce TwistBlocks in two further facilities. With millions already supported by the organisation worldwide, this expansion ensures more communities will benefit from affordable, sustainable housing solutions.
Progress in Kenya – reshaping Kibera
In the Kibera community of Nairobi, TwistBlocks are already helping to reshape the urban landscape. Production takes place directly within the community, using our moulds to create jobs for local people.
So far, construction in Kibera includes:
-
5 completed school complexes
-
23 social housing units
Currently under construction:
-
2 additional schools
-
87 housing units
Planned for the year ahead:
-
2 further schools
-
400 housing units
This is a powerful demonstration of how localised, sustainable building methods can make a lasting difference.

Rethinking how we build
TwistBlocks are produced locally, by hand, with no need for mortar – saving resources, creating accessible employment opportunities, and empowering communities to build for themselves.
At PERI, we are proud to see how technology and social benefit go hand in hand, turning innovative ideas into real-world impact.
